Melrose High School Athletic Hall of Fame
Who We Are
The Melrose Athletic Hall of Fame is a volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to highlighting the central role athletic competition plays in the lives of our students, our school, and our community.
Our Story
The Melrose High School Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1992 with the aim of supporting public schools by fostering a shared sense of school and community pride.

High school athletics not only provide a medium for students to learn life skills such as teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and the value of hard work, they also unite generations of students, teachers, and community through shared experiences, shared memories, and a shared identity.

The Hall of Fame celebrates the remarkable achievements of our athletes and coaches and encourages our community to take pride and ownership in the successes of our MHS athletes.

We welcome the community to nominate athletes, teams, coaches, and sideline heroes for induction into the Hall of Fame. In this community spirit, we welcome you to join us when we celebrate the accomplishments of our inductees at our annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
What We Do
The Hall of Fame Board and Selection Committee has the difficult task of choosing a small number of outstanding athletes and coaches from a deserving group of many.

Every two years, the Hall of Fame Committee selects the next Hall of Fame Class and honors the inductees at Memorial Hall with a dinner, induction ceremony and the unveiling of their Hall of Fame plaque.
