Middlesex League Meet: First Place 125.36

"Going 7-0, the undefeated MHS gymnastics team had an incredible season. Coached by Carla McCormack, a member of the first MHS gymnastic team, the ’89 squad won both the league championship competition and the Middlesex League title. In the league championship competition, CoCaptain Jen Johnson finished 2nd allaround and won on the uneven bars. CoCaptain Kara Dancewicz scored her personal best of 7.85 to capture 4th place on the bars. Other honorable mentions went to Alison Roselli, who finished 5th all-around, and Kristen Dolan, who finished 3rd on the beam. The team will never forget their close matches against Burlington (116-109) and defending champs, Woburn (122-110.5), or their breaking of the school’s record by scoring 125.35 points.
